Una firma en Tijuana busca un gerente de Importación-Exportación, responsable de garantizar el cumplimiento de las regulaciones comerciales. Con habilidades analíticas y experiencia en la gestión de programas de certificación, este puesto requiere conocimientos avanzados en inglés y herramientas como Oracle ERP. El candidato ideal será capaz de establecer relaciones sólidas y proporcionar informes analíticos que agreguen valor a la empresa.
> Establish relationships, trust, and credibility with internal/external stakeholders. Work with them to develop and drive business processes & solutions that are compliant with applicable trade laws, regulations, or internal policies.
> Interface with related functional areas on import and export matters and coordinate training for personnel in these areas, as needed.
> Accountable for compliant importation and exportation of goods and services, including proper classification and valuation, ERP system maintenance, and documentation.
> Ensure compliance with home and foreign country government laws and customs regulations.
> Responsible for HTS and ECCN administration and classification, export license determination, screening, and country of origin determination, as well as supporting Bloom’s Free Trade Agreement and Special Trade Program operations.
> Manage, comply with, and maintain C-TPAT, OEA, VAT Certification programs.
> Conduct effective and timely transactional reviews and audits of all import/export records, escalating issues requiring correction to Corporate TC prior to payment.
> Apply working knowledge of import/export regulations and requirements to support business demands. Consolidate and analyze import/export data to identify risks or opportunities for duty savings.
> Provide analytical support and ad-hoc projects for reporting price adjustments, royalties, etc., via the CBP Reconciliation Prototype Program, and prepare reports with recommendations for leadership.
> Support CBP rulings and requests for information (CF-28, Post Summary Correction, Prior Disclosures).
> Manage Customs Broker relationships, ensuring timely and accurate responses to requests for information and follow-up for resolution.
> Implement corrective actions in response to findings from external or internal assessments.
