We’re looking for a strategic leader to design and implement integrated labor relations and employee experience strategies that ensure legal compliance, organizational harmony, and a culture focused on well-being, inclusion, and engagement.

What will you do?

About the Role:

We are seeking a versatile and hands-on HR professional to join our growing team in Mexico City. This role will serve as the key local HR point of contact, supporting both our Chinese HR team and local business operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive generalist who can manage end-to-end HR functions with a strong focus on compliance, payroll, recruitment, and daily administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HR Operations & Compliance:

Ensure full compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations.

Manage employee records, contracts, and local HR documentation.

Support the implementation and localization of HR policies and procedures.

  • Payroll & Benefits Administration:

Accurately process monthly payroll for local employees.

Manage social security, taxes, and statutory benefits.

Handle inquiries related to compensation and benefits.

  • Recruitment & Onboarding:

Lead end-to-end recruitment for local positions (sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering).

Coordinate onboarding programs for new hires to ensure smooth integration.

Maintain a local talent pipeline and employer branding initiatives.

  • Employee Relations & Support:

Act as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries and issues.

Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and local team-building events.

Support performance management and feedback processes.

  • Administrative & Coordination Support:

Assist with office administration, vendor management, and coordination of local services.

Facilitate communication between headquarters and the Mexico team.

Support Chinese HR colleagues with local market insights and practical implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Specialist, or HR Manager in Mexico.

  • In-depth knowledge of Mexican labor law, payroll, and social security regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with end-to-end recruitment and employee lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS/payroll software is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-cultural environment.
