We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP services, strong architecture design skills, and experience in building scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud environments. This role will serve as a technical leader and trusted advisor for our clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure architecture on Google Cloud Platform.
• Assess business and technical requirements to recommend appropriate GCP solutions.
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, including assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
• Develop reference architectures, design patterns, and technical roadmaps for cloud adoption.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, security, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Provide technical leadership in areas such as data platforms, AI/ML, networking, security, and DevOps on GCP.
• Conduct cost optimization and performance tuning of cloud workloads.
• Stay updated with GCP product innovations and advise on best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 4 years in GCP-focused roles.
• Proven expertise in Google Cloud services (Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, IAM, Vertex AI, Networking, etc.).
• Proven experience delivering AI/ML and Generative AI applications on GCP (Vertex AI, BigQuery ML, or custom LLM workflows).
• Proven experience delivering Gen AI or LLM-powered applications (e.g., summarization, classification, scenario generation).
• Hands-on ability to design and guide implementation of data pipelines and ML workflows using SQL, Python, Spark, and orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Cloud Composer, or equivalent).
• Strong background in cloud migration strategies, hybrid/multi-cloud, and enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible, etc.).
• Proficiency in DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Google Professional Cloud Architect Certification, Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer Certification. (Preferrable)
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is highly desirable. (Preferrable)
• Background in data analytics, AI/ML platforms, or Kubernetes-based solutions. (Preferrable)
• Experience in client-facing consulting roles. (Preferrable)
