Formación

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Wastewater Treatment to support capital projects, research, and brewery operations in the area of industrial wastewater treatment systems. The SME will provide expert-level guidance, strategic planning, process optimization, and innovative solutions for the design, operation, and improvement of wastewater treatment facilities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
  • 12‑15 years of hands‑on experience in wastewater treatment.
  • Soft Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of conventional and advanced wastewater treatment technologies.
    • Knowledge of both U.S. and Mexican safety and environmental standards.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with modeling software and SCADA systems.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
    • Relevant wastewater operator certifications a plus.
    • Excellent attention to detail on multiple simultaneous tasks.
    • Excellent verbal presentation skills.
    • Excellent written communication skills and ability to document system procedures in an understandable format.
    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
    • Strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide technical leadership in wastewater treatment process design, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  2. Develop and review engineering designs, reports, and technical documents.
  3. Serve as the lead expert on regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal environmental standards.
  4. Evaluate and recommend advanced treatment technologies, including biological, chemical, and physical processes.
  5. Support financial development and project planning by offering technical insights and feasibility assessments.
  6. Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
  7. Engage in client meetings, site visits, and inspections as needed.
  8. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, regulators, and senior management.
  9. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
