WIN SYSTEMSis a provider of casino solutions for the global gaming industry. The Company specializes in management systems and gaming machines for all varieties of casinos and lotteries.

As aGame Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and/or creating all parts of the recreational software, from communication with peripherals, the integration of mathematics, game logic, and painting. We work in the C# platform, DirectX 9. As a gaming developer in our team, you will develop everything from drivers for HW to embedded systems, Ssot SW, and satellite tools.

You will play a pivotal role in the development and execution of our gaming projects. Your expertise in game programming will be crucial in driving the success of our games. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in Barcelona and Argentina to bring innovative ideas to life, ensuring high-quality gameplay experiences for our players.

Work place: Polanco.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop engaging games and implement mechanics, and features from concept to release.
  • Build and optimize the game engine to ensure seamless performance.
  • Prototype innovative gameplay ideas and features to explore new possibilities.
  • Design and develop plugins and tools to streamline workflows for artists and designers.
  • Transform project requirements into structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Write game scripts and create storyboards to bring narratives and mechanics to life.
  • Implement unit tests and validation processes to ensure product quality and reliability.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while documenting solutions and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with artists, and other developers to define technical requirements and ensure the successful integration of gameplay elements.
  • Conduct code reviews and contribute to the establishment and maintenance of coding standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to identify and address bugs, performance issues, and other technical challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates, address concerns, and solicit feedback throughout the development process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in game development, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Developer with high knowledge in C# (Preferably also knowledge in C++).
  • Experience in the sector of Gaming, Casino Gambling, and/or graphics applications.
  • Knowledge in client-server and peripheral communications.
  • Knowledge of development tools on Windows (Visual Studio, Team Foundation…)
  • Strong understanding of game design principles, gameplay mechanics, and player psychology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Fluent level of English and Spanish.
