Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance

  Demonstrate the use of consistent policy and processes across engineering to ensure high-quality work is delivered.

  Taking ownership of the quality, consistency and efficiency of our solutions and teams.

  Reduce costs and improve productivity and efficiency.

• Process Improvement

  Contribute to the design, implementation, continuous improvement, and governance of engineering standards & practices.

  Conducting frequent technical reviews to ensure performance and make recommendations for process improvement.

• Delivery

  Support initiatives defined by the Engineering Steering Group.

  Accountable for the project timeline, budget, scope, maintainability, and reusability in every solution they design.

  Monitor projects to ensure they are on budget.

  Define the strategies to ensure assignments are scoped and provide time and budget for delivery.

• Commerciality

  Track and improve KPIs (such as revenue per billable head).

  Work to reduce costs, and improve productivity and efficiency.

  Contribute to the productization of the offerings of the engineering capability.

• Solutions

  Should create solution architecture that follows engineering standards and practices and ensure these meet / exceed solutions' functional and non-functional requirements.

  Provide expert‑level architectural solutions that factor in the timeline, budget, scope, maintainability, reusability, and Site Reliability Engineering principles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Proficiency in Drupal, React, Magento, Wizard, Hubspot CMS, Angular.
• High proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Can continuously enhance your skills in the engineering discipline through self‑learning, L&D resources, and by learning from other team members.
• Subject Matter Expert across multiple areas and products of the industry line and tech department.
• Experience providing accurate estimations across all disciplines in the capability.

• Ensuring scoping, estimation strategies, daily scrums, retrospectives, and sprint planning take place.

• Proficiency as a lead and technical mentor to existing team members and assistance with the onboarding journey of new hires and their hiring process.

• Experienced in pitching new work, creating roadmaps, investigating, and explaining the right technical approach to support the sales and partnership capability and be client‑facing.

  Productizing engineering solutions.

• Experience creating roadmaps for solution growth, resulting in upsell opportunities.

  Can articulate the right technical approach to any partner.
