Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Management & Reporting_
• Maintain accurate books for multiple entities, ensuring proper financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards in the US (GAAP) and Mexico (NIFs).
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Work within the ERP system (Odoo preferred) to enhance financial tracking and reporting.
• Accounting Operations_
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
• Oversee intercompany transactions and eliminations.
• Assist in implementing internal controls for efficient financial processes.
• Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records.
• Cash Flow & Budgeting_
• Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Monitor spending and assist in budget variance analysis.
• Assist in operational budget tracking to align with project needs.
• Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Coordination_
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, and operations teams to improve financial processes.
• Contribute to the development of best practices for financial operations in a startup environment.
• Support the CEO with financial insights for strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

• Required Skills & Experience : _
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial management (startup experience is a plus but not required).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and NIFs accounting standards.
• Experience with financial software or ERP systems (Odoo preferred but not required).

Proficiency in Excel for financial modeling and reporting.

Adaptability and willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Fluency in English required.
