A leading manufacturing firm in Tijuana seeks a Financial Analyst to control pricing and costing processes. The candidate will analyze data, enhance accuracy, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve profitability. A Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required, along with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel. Bilingual candidates are preferred.

Formación

  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
  • Extensive experience with Excel and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to perform data analysis and present findings clearly.

The Financial Analyst is mainly responsible for developing and implementing concepts to tightly control and track the pricing and costing processes.

Perform analysis and provide recommendations that will enhance accuracy and result in improved margins.

Identify and implement projects that improve and/or automate current processes.

This position will work cross functionally with finance, sales, engineering and manufacturing to bring a new level of visibility and profitability control to the business.

  • Develop an in depth understanding of costing principles and cost models used when quoting new business and help to manage the Request for Quote (RFQ) process from start to finish.
  • Develop an in depth understanding of pricing models and principles used to arrive at pricing decisions and provide oversight on price change process.
  • Act as point person between Sales and Finance to communicate customer and product specific details such as historical sales, margins, pricing and costs.
  • Prepare regular reviews on customer/item profitability, provide recommendations for improvement, and see those recommendations through to completion and implementation.

  • Bachelor's Degree Required - Preferably in Finance or Accounting*
  • High math acumen and analytical skills
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel
  • Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to communicate to all levels of an organization *
