Job Title

Electronics Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced electronics engineer to join our team as a Field Service Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled professional to work on complex equipment installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, cost control, and monitoring work in an advisory capacity to others. They will also supervise company employees in the performance of the work and document all job activity.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Lead complex equipment trial runs, investigative tests, repairs, and overhauls.
  • Experience with networking, SQL databases, and servers.
  • Proven experience and strong affinity for working with SW tools.
  • Proven experience analyzing and interpreting large amounts of complex data.
  • Provide complex product and service training to customers.
  • Participate in and eventually guide complex maintenance of tools, test equipment, etc., and document all inspections, maintenance, and repair work, and failures.
  • Participate in and eventually lead complex service calls and interface with customer personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
  • Guide assessment of complex product / equipment performance based on field support data and design modifications or improvements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (electrical, mechanical, industrial).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience within the SMT industry required.
  • Experience with SIPLACE equipment and SIPLACE software preferred.
  • Experience with DEK equipment and DEK software preferred.
  • Must be fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Portuguese or Spanish skills both written and spoken a plus.
Work Environment

Extensive domestic and international travel required.
