About the Role
The Ethics Risk & Compliance Head will ensure all aspects of the communications, training and operational excellence activities of the Ethics, Risk & Compliance and run efficiently in accordance with Ethics, Risk and Compliance Program ("ERC Program").
Embed Code of Ethics and a culture of integrity across the whole Operations through a variety of initiatives at global and local level.
Act in accordance with legislation, internal rules, good practices and business objectives and provide advisory support to the entire Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ethics, Risk & Compliance leadership and in close co-ordination with Senior Business (e.g. Country Presidents) and Senior Representatives from other Functions (e.g. Internal Audit, BPO, Legal, Policy Custodians)
- Drive robust implementation of the Ethics, Risk & Compliance Head role & provide support to Country Presidents – Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Country Compliance Heads and support local implementation activities using existing tools – Up-skill the capabilities of teams by providing training and conducting country visits – Perform on-boarding of leaders and drive objective setting and performance management process of direct team – Develop and update supporting materials and tools – Support Country Presidents in x-divisional Compliance matters
- Support design of an effective Anti-Bribery / TPG framework and support robust implementation, upon request of Head ERC : – Review and refine the Anti-Bribery / TPG strategy, policy, process and systems – Develop pragmatic tools to support the implementation of the anti-bribery framework via the divisions & develop presentations re the Anti-Bribery / TPG framework to Senior Management.
- Provide strategic support and manage / contribute to Compliance Projects – Provide strategic support to Head ERC or Chief Ethics, Risk & Compliance Officer including managing / being an active team member of strategic Projects for a range of Compliance topics.
Minimum Requirements
- Overall relevant work experience of 8-10 years working in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries with relevant exposure to the compliance / risk functions or managed a comparable compliance function at a large scale.
- Experience in leading via influence to build effective working relationships across functions.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry with its dynamics, regulatory framework with a demonstrated in-depth understanding of applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance matters affecting global pharmaceutical companies with approved products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization and to inspire confidence and support for compliance initiatives.
- Excellent English both spoken and written.
- Any other language will be a plus.
- Postgraduate degree in Business Administration is desired.
