A leading technology company is seeking an Engineering Technician II in Mexicali, Baja California. This temporary role will focus on executing fabrication of assemblies like cables and harnesses, ensuring projects meet budget and quality standards. Candidates should have a Technician diploma in Electronics or equivalent, along with 2-3 years of experience in electronic product fabrication. Proficiency in technical English and Microsoft Office is required, alongside strong teamwork and communication skills.

Formación

• 2-3 years of experience in electronic product fabrication (cables, harnesses, control/test boxes).
• Ability to read fabrication drawings.
• Skilled in using internet for technical information & data sheet search.

Responsabilidades

Descripción del empleo

Engineering Technician II role is responsible for execution on simple and low to medium complexity projects/tasks, ensuring is executed within budgeted hours and completed on time, meeting or exceeding quality according to customer requirements and IPC 620 & 610 standards and participate on improvement activities and HOS execution.

Responsibilities

Please note that this is a temporary role

• Execution/Fabrication of simple and low to medium complexity of assemblies such as cables, harnesses, test boxes, etc.
• Wiring list & electrical drawing interpretation required to execute projects.
• Electrical testing on fabricated components
• Ensure projects are executed within budget hours and completed before desired completion date.
• Establish direct communication with local engineering support to have better understanding of drawing and technical issues.
• Correct execution of redmarks on drawings and build deviations.
• Accurately report project progress to internal project administrator.
• Apply applicable Honeywell QA procedures / methods.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have Technician diploma in Electronics or equivalent or 2-3 years of experience in electronic product fabrication (e.g. Cables, harnesses, control / test boxes, aerospace industry desirable).
• Industry environment knowledge.
• Basic technical English focus on electronics terminology (reading & writing).
• Ability to read fabrication drawings.
• Skilled in use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Outlook) & internet for technical information & data sheet search. Internal time keeping system, Tooling, crib & BOM databases, Drawings control systems.
