A leading tech firm is seeking an Embedded Linux Senior Software Engineer to optimize Ubuntu for the latest silicon. This globally remote role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and experience with Linux packaging and C/C++. You'll collaborate with major silicon partners and work on innovative IoT and server technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Embedded Linux Senior Software Engineer - Optimisation. Home based - Worldwide. Work across the full Linux stack from kernel through GUI to optimise Ubuntu, the world’s most widely used Linux desktop and server, for the latest silicon. The role is fast-paced and problem-solving, requiring resourcefulness and the ability to deliver across PC and IoT technologies. Our teams partner with specialist engineers from major silicon companies to integrate next-generation features and performance enhancements for upcoming hardware.
Location: This is a Globally remote role

Your base pay will depend on various factors including your geographical location, level of experience, knowledge and skills.
