A leading IT services company is seeking a Technical Lead / Lead Developer to focus on Data Privacy initiatives. The role involves designing and developing backend systems using Java and Spring Boot, collaborating with various teams for compliance, and implementing CI/CD practices. Ideal candidates should have strong problem-solving skills and experience in Agile methodologies. This position is available in Monterrey, Mexico.

Formación

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations.
• Design and develop robust Data Privacy backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Integrate OneTrust modules for consent management.
• Write unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka.
• Participate in code reviews focusing on security and compliance.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.

Job Title: Technical Lead / Lead Developer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Lead Developerto join ourData Management & Governanceteam, with a specialized focus onData Privacy. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withJava,Spring Boot, and modernCI/CDpractices, along with a strong understanding ofprivacy-by-design principles,data protection techniques, andregulatory compliance. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable enterprise applications that support privacy and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Data Governance, Legal, and Security teams to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations
• Design & develop robust Data Privacy backend systems using Java & Spring Boot
• Build & maintain microservices & RESTful APIs
• Integrate and configureOneTrustmodules for consent management, data mapping, and assessments
• Write & maintain unit & integration tests using JUnit &Mockito
• Implement messaging solutions using Kafka for real-time data processing
• Participate in code reviews & ensure adherence to coding standards
• Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for automated deployments
• Conduct code reviews with a focus onsecurity,privacy, andcompliance
• Optimize application performance & troubleshoot production issues

Must-Have Skills:
