Role:

Serves as a key liaison between customers and internal operations by supporting inquiries related to order lead times, configuration changes, and delivery expectations. Ensures material availability aligns with production schedules and inventory targets to maintain operational continuity. Manages the intake and validation of new orders and order modifications, ensuring accurate processing within the order management system and alignment with production capabilities.

What you'll do:
  • Monitors inventory levels against target thresholds to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess.
  • Supports short-term and tactical planning efforts to balance supply and demand across production lines.
  • Utilizes forecasting tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to analyze demand trends, seasonal variations, and capacity constraints.
  • Identifies and escalates potential supply chain risks or bottlenecks that may impact production schedules.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries, providing accurate and timely updates on lead times, production schedules, order modifications, rescheduling, and shipping dates.
  • Capable of aligning customer orders with the sales and production plan to support monthly delivery and revenue targets.
  • Coordinates cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Logistics, and Manufacturing to prioritize customer needs and resolve conflicts.
  • Adapt quickly to dynamic production environments and shifting customer priorities, maintaining service levels and responsiveness to evolving needs.
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely updates and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and transparency across the supply chain.
Education Required:
  • Degree Completed in Industrial Engineering or related to a Supply Chain field of choice
  • Fluent English (Advanced)

  • Ability to contribute to the development and execution of short-term operational plans.

  • Proficiency in identifying and reporting variances, and implementing corrective actions as agreed.
  • Capability to develop tactical plans within assigned areas of responsibility, under guidance.

Demand Management
  • Intermediate to advanced management of the SAP system (planning modules)
  • Essential To have worked in a position of demand and Order for a minimum of 2 years
  • Ability to assist in the collection and preparation of essential demand data.
  • Capability to contribute to short-term demand planning activities for specific products or locations.
  • Proficiency in generating basic demand management reports to support senior staff in reconciling demand balances.
  • Skill in identifying and summarizing operational issues and concerns within demand management processes.
  • Familiarity with demand planning tools, with the ability to apply them—under guidance—to forecast demand, assess seasonal trends, and support demand-shaping efforts.
Forecasting
  • Ability to contribute to the development of short-term forecasts for specific products or locations.
  • Proficiency in gathering and analyzing demand data using established tools and procedures.
  • Skill in identifying relevant data sources and inputs for weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Capability to research and interpret seasonal trends affecting major products or product lines.
  • Understanding of common business conditions and activities that influence demand patterns.
Top Candidates:
  • Masters degree
  • Microsoft Office Specialist certification
  • Knowledge on MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or similar
  • Knowledge of lean techniques
  • Track record in positions in the demand and order area for at least 2 years
