Formación

  • 4+ years of experience in analysis or data science environment.
  • Strong proficiency in statistical skill set including regression analysis and cluster analysis.
  • Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience.

Job Description

In this role, you will collaborate with senior data scientists and management to understand their needs. Additionally, you will conduct research, develop innovative statistical models for data analysis, and communicate your findings to all stakeholders. You will facilitate smarter business processes by implementing analytics for valuable insights. It is essential to remain updated on technical and industry advancements.

Responsibilities
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies
  • Assist in translating complex datasets into strategic insights for the business and to communicate to non-technical audiences, visualize results, and create understandings and solution buy-in
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes
  • Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
Requirements
  • Level of formal education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Area of study: Statistics, applied Mathematics, Economics or related discipline.
  • Years of experience: +4 years in analysis and/or data science environment.
  • Type of experience: Success in this position necessitates a comprehensive statistical skill set, including multiple linear regression, multivariate adaptive regression splines, cluster analysis, and time series modeling. Additionally, a strong proficiency in data skills is essential, such as SQL programming and SAS data step programming for data preparation for analysis and modeling.
  • Special certifications or technical skills:
    • Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience.
    • Experience with MS Office suite. Specifically on Excel and Power Point.
    • Technical skills may include experience with one or more database management system and programming languages, such as SQL, SAS, Python and/or R.
    • Cloud technical skills, proficient in data modeling, and data software support. Preferably in GCP.
    • Problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Presentation, facilitation and writing skills.
  • Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects.
