The ideal candidate should have strong experience in international logistics and customs procedures, particularly within the USA, Canada, and knowledge of South American operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating customs operations, supervising transportation, and managing the supply chain. Ideal applicants will possess a Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience. English proficiency and familiarity with SAP Business One are essential.

We are seeking a highly skilled Customs Operations & Logistics Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in international logistics, customs procedures within USA and Canada, and end-to-end supply chain management. Knowledge on import and export operations for South America would be a valuable asset for the candidate.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up on import and export customs operations.
• Supervise and optimize international transportation, including route and mode selection.
• Manage inventory in collaboration with technical and warehouse teams.
• Oversee the full supply chain process from origin to final customers.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and logistics warehouses.
• Utilize SAP Business One (SAP B1) for logistics and transportation processes.
• Prepare periodic logistical reports and operational documentation.
• Provide support to company branches across the Americas and participate in internal audits.

Profile Requirements

• Education & Skills: Higher Technical Degree or Bachelor's Degree in International Business/International trade.
• Completely English proficient; written and spoken (MUST).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in international transport operations.
• Proficient user of SAP Business One.
• Professional Experience: 45+ years experience in international logistics environments.
• Previous experience with customs procedures within the U.S., Mexico, and Canada.
• Familiarity with regulations such as Section 232 in USA and trade agreements in North America (USA, Canada, and Mexico).
• Practical experience managing and documenting international shipments.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes.
• Experience in inventory and warehouse management.

Additional Requirements

• Strong preference for candidates with prior experience in U.S. and/or Canadian companies.
• Availability to travel.
• Visa to travel to the USA.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in customs operations, international logistics and related fields.
