A logistics services company in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a professional to coordinate and monitor the traffic of imports, exports, and transfers. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Trade or a related field and possess 2–4 years of experience in customs operations. Effective communication skills in both English and Spanish, along with strong knowledge of customs regulations and ERP systems like SAP, are essential. This role offers the opportunity to optimize routes and liaise with various supply chain points.

Formación

  • 2–4 years of experience in customs, import/export, and logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms and customs documentation.
  • Experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders.

Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate and monitor the traffic of the crossings of imports, exports and transfers.
  • Keep the traffic report updated, informing internal and external clients.
  • Optimize times and rutas with transport units.
  • Maintain good communication with suppliers and vendors.

Descripción del empleo
Main activities:
  • Coordinate and monitor the traffic of the crossings of imports, exports and transfers
  • Keep the traffic report updated, always informing the internal and external client
  • Optimize times and routes with transport units
  • Maintain good communication with the company's internal and external departments, suppliers and vendors
  • Serve as a link between the different points of the supply chain
  • Make bills of landing by UPS, and FedEx for shipment of merchandise
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in customs, import/export, and logistics operations.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
  • Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade compliance.
  • Experience coordinating import and export shipments (air, ocean, and ground).
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, customs documentation, and shipping requirements.
  • Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government authorities.
  • Knowledge of IMMEX program and Mexican customs regulations (preferred).
  • Ability to analyze logistics costs and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in documentation.
