A leading international development organization is seeking a Country Representative in Mexico to manage and lead the strategic planning and operational goals of the country program. This role involves engaging with various stakeholders and managing personnel effectively to advance gender equality and women's empowerment initiatives. The ideal candidate should have experience in program management and a relevant degree, along with fluency in English and Spanish. This position offers a fixed-term appointment with a starting date aligned with international commitments.

Formación

  • Experience in managing programs and teams within an international development context.
  • Experience in gender equality initiatives and related frameworks.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

Responsabilidades

  • Manage the strategic country programme planning and development.
  • Lead the design and implementation of strategic direction for the country.
  • Provide substantive advice to senior management on regional strategy.
  • Oversee the preparation of UN Women mandated country reports.
  • Ensure effective workforce planning and recruitment.
