A leading electric motor manufacturer in Reynosa, Mexico, seeks a Cost Analyst IV to manage cost accounting processes and oversee fixed assets. The role involves analyzing manufacturing costs, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. As a Cost Analyst IV with the Nidec Aerospace team you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your expertise to design electric propulsion systems for battery-powered aircraft that will enable the world to sustainably and efficiently get from point A to point B.

From ideation to production you will work with a diverse and experienced team of design engineers to support aerospace industry leaders and spearhead technological advances in transport decarbonization.
The Cost and Accounting Analyst IV plays a key role in managing cost accounting processes and overseeing the entire fixed assets lifecycle. This position ensures accurate financial reporting supports budgeting and forecasting activities and delivers strategic insights into cost structures and asset utilization. This role requires strong collaboration with operations supply chain and finance teams to drive efficiency compliance and continuous improvement.
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost accounting and fixed asset management.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost flows and asset accounting principles.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP required; BPC experience is a plus).
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools (considered a strong differential).
Advanced English proficiency.
Familiarity with corporate financial policies internal controls and audit processes.
