We are a leading engineering company looking for a skilled Controls Planner, assuming the responsibility of ensuring the effective planning and coordination of engineering resources in control systems projects, enabling the successful execution of automation solutions aligned with organizational and client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation and Monitoring of Resources Planning.
• Definition of Project Strategy.
• Resource Assignment to Project Teams.
• Substitution of Technical Management Roles.

Responsible for preparing, organizing, and continuously monitoring the allocation of human and technical resources required for control systems projects, ensuring optimal team efficiency and adherence to project timelines.

Define and establish the strategy for project execution, balancing between internal local resources, resources from the IT8 group, and external subcontracting services to meet project requirements effectively.

Allocate and assign appropriate resources to specific project teams, ensuring each team has the necessary personnel and skills to achieve project objectives.

Act as a substitute for PLC, Robot, and Hardware Design Engineering Managers when necessary, providing leadership, technical support, and decision‑making during their absence.

What will you need to succeed as a Controls Planner?

• Bachelor degree in Electronic engineering, electricity, telecommunications.
• Master design, Installation and Maintenance of Industrial Automation Systems or similar. (mandatory)
• Experience in the automation area and automotive industry.
• Passport and Visa available.
• Open to relocate to USA.
• Experience: 5‑6 years.
• Software: MS Office (advanced level), Controls programs advanced level, SAP.
• Languages: English (Intermediate), German (Basic - Intermediate).
