We are seeking a skilled Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead the design, execution, and optimization of Total Rewards programs and HR operations at our Mexicali manufacturing site. This role ensures alignment with global compensation strategies while meeting local regulatory and workforce needs. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in compensation and benefits with hands-on HR operations experience and a data-driven mindset.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Align local compensation and benefits practices with global Total Rewards strategy and business objectives.
  • Design, implement, and manage compensation structures, incentive plans, equity programs, and health & welfare benefits.
  • Conduct internal equity assessments, market benchmarking, and salary structure reviews.
  • Advise managers and HR partners on compensation proposals, job leveling, pay-for-performance, and retention.
  • Lead HR operations at the Mexicali site, including employee data accuracy, time & attendance, leave management, and HR reporting.
  • Manage relationships with local brokers, vendors, third-party administrators, and auditors.
  • Oversee annual compensation cycles, including merit increases and bonus planning, in coordination with global teams.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws related to compensation and benefits.
  • Collaborate with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee pay.
  • Act as a liaison between the Mexicali site and the global Total Rewards function for continuous alignment and improvement.

Perfil buscado

  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on compensation & benefits, preferably in a manufacturing or public company environment.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory HR role.
  • Strong skills in data analysis, compensation modeling, and ROI/cost-benefit evaluation.
  • Proven track record managing cross-functional projects and improving HR processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence at all levels.
  • High integrity and discretion with sensitive information.
