Overview

Join Diageo México’s Commercial Finance team to turn data into significant action across Modern Trade (supermarkets, convenience, cash & carry), Wholesalers, Distributors/E-commerce, and On-Trade. You’ll partner with Sales, RGM, Customer Marketing, Demand Planning, and Supply to drive profitable growth with sharp analysis, crisp storytelling, and strong influence.

Responsibilities
  • Own customer/channel P&Ls end-to-end (NSV to Gross Profit and Trade Investment) and the driver tree (price, mix, volume, TI).
  • Translate complex data into simple, compelling narratives that land decisions with senior key partners.
  • Optimize Trade Investment (promo & fixed), trade terms, and price-pack-promo strategies; quantify return on investment and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Lead monthly performance reviews and build scenario models for pricing, mix, promotions, and route-to-consumer choices.
  • Elevate S&OP with clear risks/opportunities; improve forecast accuracy using sell-out, stock-in-trade, and depletions signals.
  • Strengthen distributor and key customer economics; develop actionable scorecards and execution trackers.
  • Support cash/working-capital outcomes during peak seasons and hard closes.
Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years in Commercial Finance/FP&A/RGM within CPG (beverages strongly preferred).
  • Confirmed ability to influence without authority and challenge constructively with Sales Directors and cross-functional leaders.
  • Executive-ready communication: concise storytelling, impactful decks, and data-driven recommendations.
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI; SQL or similar a plus.
  • Strong grasp of channel/customer P&L mechanics, TI governance, and S&OP.
  • Bachelor’s in Finance/Economics/Engineering; MBA a plus.
  • Spanish and English proficiency (written, verbal, presentation).
