Position Overview
As the Commercial Excellence Head at Grupo Comex, you will lead end‑to‑end strategy, implementation and continuous improvement of commercial excellence projects, driving transformation and commercial intelligence across the organization. You will also manage full implementation of Salesforce, ensuring platform use to empower the sales team. You will report to the Architectural Coatings Commercial Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement commercial excellence strategies that increase sustainable growth and transformation, aligned with Grupo Comex's vision.
- Develop and deliver sales training programs and skills‑building projects to enhance the capabilities of the commercial team.
- Provide ongoing coaching to sales personnel to increase performance and professional development.
- Define and monitor indicators and dynamic dashboards to track sales performance, campaign effectiveness, and commercial team productivity.
- Use sales pipeline in CRM tools to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
- Manage sales leads to increase conversion rates and revenue growth.
- Improve critical commercial processes including territory planning, quota allocation, pricing, and sales forecasting to maximize efficiency and results.
- Lead business planning efforts and oversee visit‑management strategies to strengthen customer relationships and market coverage.
- Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of Salesforce and other digital tools for CRM, sales automation, and advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to align go‑to‑market strategies and customer segmentation, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify and adapt global best practices to regional needs, being a strategic partner to regional and functional leaders to lead commercial transformation.
- Represent the team in global meetings, providing strategic vision and leadership in commercial intelligence and transformation projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
- MBA or postgraduate degree.
- 8+ years of experience in commercial roles, strategy, or consulting with experience leading sales excellence, commercial transformation, and performance management programs.
- Advanced knowledge and hands‑on experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Fluent English mandatory.
- Skills: Operate in uncertain environments, capacity to overcome challenges, change adaptation, adjusting to new conditions, strategic mindset, project management and communication.
