A global technology company is seeking a Channel Sales Specialist in Mexico to implement sales strategies and enhance market penetration. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of sales experience, preferably with electric motors, and advanced English communication skills. Formación

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably with electric motors and variable frequency drives.
  • Experience in preparing monthly sales reports and developing business plans for distribution channels.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of motors and drives is desirable.

This Position reports to: Sales Manager

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the defined channel sales strategy within the assigned market scope to enhance ABB’s market penetration and support its growth ambitions. You will execute channel sales initiatives to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets, focusing on orders, revenue, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction.

You will also play a key role in expanding the customer base within the assigned channel, acting as a strategic contributor to the business.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.

This role is contributing to the Motion Drive Products Division in Mexico.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the agreed channel sales strategy within the approved budget.
  • Prepare offers and proposals for channel partners aligned with broader sales strategies.
  • Report progress on channel strategies, plans, and budgets.
  • Analyze channel activity and take ownership of resolving any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales; experience with electric motors and variable frequency drives is a plus.
  • Experience preparing monthly sales reports and developing business plans for distribution channels.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge of motors and drives is desirable.
  • Proven ability to build and manage customer relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree completed.
