A manufacturing company in Tijuana is seeking an experienced procurement specialist to manage the purchasing process and ensure the proper functioning of the warehouse and inventory systems. Candidates should have at least a university degree, relevant sourcing experience, and strong negotiation skills. Fluency in English and a valid visa are required for this role.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of relevant sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work within an international team.
• Visa required.

Responsabilidades

Descripción del empleo

Ensure the proper functioning of the warehouse and the inventory control, storage and shipping systems used in the company to serve as a link with other departments that require its proper functioning (Purchasing, materials planning, production and customer service.)

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the implementation of the purchasing process
2. Supply all the materials and services necessary for the operation to be carried out
3. Look for options among the same suppliers already approved by the organization if necessary
4. Direct dealings with suppliers and service providers.
5. Generate purchase orders, generate reports and notifications of materials at risk by arrival date and/or global situation when the supplier notifies you.
6. Comply with guidelines applicable to your area and with the different management systems.

Experience

1. University degree or equivalent qualification
2. 3 year technical/business degree or minimum 3 years relevant sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. Demonstrated ability to work within an international team
4. Sourcing, negotiation and supply chain management skills
5. Ability to build supplier relationship
6. English spoken
7. Visa required
