Eaton's AER ITD division is currently seeking a Buyer.

What you’ll do : Job Summary

The Buyer is responsible for the execution of ensuring program material orders are received into production site, and any fluctuations in schedule demand or material delivery dates are managed and controlled.

He / She is conducted in accordance with Eaton's philosophy, leadership model, and code of ethics.

Job Responsibilities

• Source items with different suppliers to get best possible quality / lead time / price.
• Negotiation on quotes (price, net terms, lead time).
• Fill out quoting packages for Customer Service / NPI Engineering.
• Monitor and expedite new supplier qualification process and / or new material approval thru PPAP steps with appropriate functions as necessary.
• Exception messages coverage (pull in, push out, cancellation, PO placement, order confirmation).
• Follow up to guarantee on time delivery of the goods / services acquired by monitoring supplier development schedules.
• Work instruction process documentation.
• Implement a purchasing surveillance plan.

Qualifications :

• Education level required: Bachelor's degree in international trade, industrial engineering or similar
• Years and area of experience required: 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain
• Technical knowledge: Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP system.
• Knowledge and experience in executing metrics related to Supply Chain.
• English Pre-Advanced.
