Job Description

We are looking for our next Business Analytics Analyst to join our team.

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of work experience in a data-centric or business modeling role (likely credit, consulting, or banking, but we are open to other relevant work experience)
• An analyst who loves digging into large data sets and proactively improving their skillset — our analysts primarily work in SQL & Python, but an understanding of programming and data structures in any language can get you started
• Someone who can effectively draw insights from data, produce visualizations to explain complex concepts, and drive recommendations backed by data
• Someone who is self-motivated, driven, and willing to tackle a problem head-on with a strong desire to continuously & proactively learn and improve
• A team player who knows how to communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and optimize for the entire company
• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Math, or other quantitative discipline
• Fluency in English

Job Responsibilities

• Increase Stori’s business and customer understanding through data analysis & visualization, A/B testing, and statistical modeling
• Monitor & evaluate business performance by pulling data from Amazon Redshift and creating dashboards in Amazon Quicksight
• Drive analysis to glean business or customer insights, prioritize and forecast impacts of initiatives or product/feature development, and make strategic recommendations
• Automate data-driven processes to free up time to think about how to drive more value
• Work cross-functionally with other verticals like Product, Finance, Data Science, or Operations to define priorities and implement strategic recommendations
