Marketing Data Analyst – MezTal (Guadalajara, U.S.-based client)

MezTal is seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join our team in Guadalajara and support a U.S.-based client. This position plays a key role in updating and maintaining marketing reports, pulling and validating data, and ensuring accurate, timely delivery of insights. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, adaptable to standardized processes, and comfortable collaborating with an international analytics team.

You’ll work with tools such as Power BI, DOMO, Google Sheets, and Python/Pandas, and play an important role in spotting anomalies, preparing presentations, and supporting smooth reporting workflows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update recurring marketing reports and ensure accuracy of data.
  • Pull and organize data from multiple marketing sources and platforms.
  • Identify anomalies or inconsistencies in performance data and flag them for review.
  • Create presentations and documents (Google Slides, Google Docs) to support internal and client-facing needs.
  • Collaborate with the analytics and operations teams to improve workflows and deliverables.
  • Work with BI tools such as Power BI, DOMO, and Pandas to build dashboards and streamline reporting.
  • Support process standardization and continuous improvement of reporting workflows.
Must-Have Qualifications

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for a Pricing & Data Analysis Specialist who will shape global pricing strategies, optimize product lifecycle processes, and build BI tools to empower product and sales teams worldwide.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and lead robust global pricing strategies in partnership with Product Management and Sales.
  • Manage pricing operations end-to-end: regional price lists, annual reviews, and special pricing requests.
  • Analyze profitability trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Subject matter expert for product registration systems; drive process improvements.
  • Design and deliver training materials for pricing and lifecycle management.
  • Oversee product discontinuation and End-of-Life (EOL) processes.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in data analysis, pricing, product management, or sales operations (preferably in an industrial or technical environment).

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, or similar field; MBA is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication and ability to engage cross-functional and global teams.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce, Power BI, Python, Excel, and Microsoft Office. Proven track record of driving process improvements and executing strategic pricing initiatives.

Nice to Have
  • Experience in robotics or industrial automation.
  • Familiarity with B2B sales models and subscription-based industrial software pricing.
  • Experience working with global product lifecycle systems.
