A leading entertainment service provider is seeking an Associate in Mexico to support programming decisions and operations. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in strategy roles, possess strong analytical skills, and have deep knowledge of the Mexican entertainment industry. Responsibilities include performance analysis, audience behavior assessment, and strategic project leadership. Fluency in Spanish and English is required, alongside strong communication and data analysis skills. The role thrives in a fast-paced environment and demands high integrity.

Formación

  • 3 – 6 years in a management consulting firm, VC, investment bank, or media/entertainment/tech company.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mexican entertainment industry and SVOD players.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel and Google Sheets.

Associate - CPS&O (Content Programming, Strategy & Operations), Mexico

Netflix’s Content Programming Strategy & Operations (CPS&O) team is looking for an Associate to join its team in its Mexico office, supporting the Mexico Content Team. Globally, the CPS&O team reports to the Chief Content Officer, with this role reporting to the Director, CPS&O for Latam.

We inform Content decisions and drive Content operations to deliver the most thrilling content offering and value to our members.

We do this by:

  • Helping optimize our slate, programming, and investments from development to launch
  • Leading cross-functional coordination and driving solutions for operational challenges
  • Providing an informed perspective on future business development opportunities

We partner closely with the senior leaders of our Content, Production, Business Affairs, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic support on programming decisions, both on an individual title basis and across the Mexico slate.
  • Lead performance analysis and assess audience behaviors of launched titles.
  • Develop a deep understanding of industry trends in Mexico, competitor slates, and whitespace programming opportunities.
  • Support the scheduling process of our local content and provide launch date recommendations in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Support and eventually lead special projects for senior Netflix leaders and develop recommendations on strategic and operational issues.
  • Regularly present analyses and reports on relevant operating and financial metrics in an easy-to-understand format to senior business leaders.
Qualifications
  • 3 – 6 years as a full-time employee in a top management consulting firm, venture capital, investment bank, private equity, hedge fund, and/or media/entertainment/tech company in a strategy/business development/analytical role. We are looking for candidates who have worked in a highly demanding environment in which complex modeling and analysis is performed.
  • Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis; can drive insight and results using data.
  • Passion for entertainment and avid watcher of TV and films.
  • Strong knowledge of the Mexican entertainment industry, SVOD players, and Mexico content.
  • Demonstrated track record of collaboration and impact; seen as a team player.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills with a track record of presenting complex analyses to executives/senior management clearly and concisely.
  • High proactivity and ability to work independently. Thrives in a fast-paced, always-changing environment.
  • Intellectually curious and has the courage to challenge the status quo; exhibits the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.
  • Excellent proficiency with MS Excel / PowerPoint and/or Google Sheets / Slides.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
