AI & Data Intelligence Engineer

Remote (LATAM preferred – Monterrey / Mexico City)

At Raken AI Labs, we build applied AI solutions that turn complex data into real business decisions. We work hands‑on with modern data platforms, machine learning, and AI agents to solve operational, risk, and intelligence challenges for large organizations across LATAM and the US.

We’re looking for an AI & Data Intelligence Engineer who enjoys working close to real data, real users, and real impact — not just research or experimentation.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement applied machine learning models for operational insights, anomaly detection, and intelligent decision support
• Build AI‑driven logic and enrichment layers on top of high‑volume transactional data
• Develop LLM‑powered assistants, copilots, or agents to support business and operational workflows
• Analyze large‑scale datasets to uncover patterns, risks, and opportunities
• Collaborate closely with BI, automation, and product teams to deliver trusted insights and metrics
• Implement monitoring, alerts, and explainability for AI‑driven outputs
• Deploy models and analytics pipelines in cloud environments (AWS)
• Document models, assumptions, and outcomes to support governance and auditability

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience in data science, ML engineering, or applied analytics
• Strong hands‑on skills in Python and SQL
• Experience building production‑grade ML solutions (not research‑only)
• Practical exposure to anomaly detection, risk models, or operational analytics
• Familiarity with LLM frameworks (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI SDK, or similar)
• Experience deploying data or ML workloads in AWS
• Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and business audiences
• Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish (bilingual)

Nice to have

• Background in financial services, payments, FX, or compliance‑related analytics
• Experience with BI or analytics tools (e.g., Streamlit, Power BI, ThoughtSpot)
• Exposure to Snowflake or modern data platforms
• Experience working in regulated or audit‑sensitive environments

Location & setup

• Remote role, with preference for candidates based in Monterrey or Mexico City
• South Florida, LATAM‑based candidates welcome
