Role Summary: We have an exciting opportunity for a Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer to join Nidec Drives.

The Servo Motor Product Support & Application Engineer will oversee both strategic and operational aspects of our Control Techniques Dynamics portfolio, providing support for commercial, technical, and customer-facing activities to ensure customer satisfaction, product adoption, and market growth.

This role involves supporting segment and regional drive centers with commercial products and support management, bridging product management, engineering, and regional teams to deliver application expertise, resolve challenges, and foster product adoption.

Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Commercial product support management
• Quotation and proposal management
• Segment and regional support
• Bid coordination
• Margin and profitability analysis
• Order management and fulfillment
• Forecasting and pipeline support
• Product and application engineering support
• Commercial enablement and training
• Product lifecycle feedback integration
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Performance monitoring and continuous improvement
• Customer advocacy and relationship building

Travel Requirements: A minimum of 25% travel, potentially more, including overnight stays and out-of-hours meetings.

Qualifications & Experience: Degree/Bachelor/Master in a technical discipline or equivalent in automation, with proven experience in servo motor product management, business development, and market knowledge in automation. Strong interpersonal, technical, and financial skills, along with leadership capabilities managing cross-functional teams and projects.
