A logistics company in Segrate is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage daily accounting operations and support the Finance Manager. The ideal candidate should have 5 years of experience and expertise in various accounting software. Responsibilities include preparing financial reports, monitoring cash flow, and reconciling accounts. This is a full-time on-site position.
Competenze
- 5 years of experience as Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
- Familiarity with preparing VAT declarations.
- Ability to generate financial reports, including balance sheets and cash flow statements.

- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

This role will be responsible for the accounting operations in all day-to-day activities and support Finance Manager.
- Day-to-day finance activities
- General administrative tasks: contact with bank, customers, suppliers and all departments
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and reporting
- Reconcile bank statements, intercompany statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy
- Support finance manager with month, quarter, year-end closing
- Monitoring and planning cash flow requirements
- Controlling AR / AP / General Ledger
- Generate a variety of financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Managing preparation of all financial reports & balance sheets
- Preparations of the budget
- Analysis of the budget versus actual results
- Process optimization
- Maintaining contact with auditors, tax specialists, banks and other finance related parties
- Preparing VAT declaration
- Support financial manager in day-to-day operations
- Replacing finance manager in case of absence
- Ensure all matters consistent with Global & company policies and Laws
- Higher Education in Accounting / Economics / professional qualification
- 5 years experience as Senior Accountant or Finance Manager
- Knowledge of different accounting software (Microsoft AX, Oracle Fusion, Qlik, etc)
- Knowledge of business languages: English
