English to Italian Freelance Translator
Job summary
A leading translation service provider is seeking a freelance translator with mother tongue-level proficiency in Italian and fluent English. The role requires at least 2 years of experience in translating content for IT, finance, legal, and e-commerce sectors. Flexible remote work is offered, with collaboration during APAC hours. Candidates should be proficient in CAT tools and possess excellent writing skills. This part-time position allows you to work on diverse projects with significant clients.

- Minimum 2 years of translation experience in relevant fields.
- Ability to adapt content effectively across different cultures.

We are currently seeking some highly skilled freelance translators with mother tongue-level proficiency in IT, fluency in English and experience in the IT/finance/legal/life sciences/e-commerce/social media industry. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with big clients and contribute to exciting projects.
- Translation of IT/finance/legal/life sciences/e-commerce/social app UI/UX content.
- The role offers flexible remote work, and we’re specifically seeking professionals who can collaborate during APAC working hours (e.g., 9 AM–7 PM GMT+8). The content spans a variety of domains (e.g., IT, marketing, auto, and finance, etc.), so versatility is a plus.
- Mother tongue should be IT;
- A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field;
- Engaged in EN to IT translation of IT/finance/legal/life sciences/e-commerce/social app UI/UX content for a minimum of 2 years;
- Proven transcreation skills to adapt content creatively and effectively across different cultures and contexts;
- Experience with CAT tools and terminology management tools;
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
