Beckman Coulter is currently looking for a Technical Support Specialist who will be remote-based in Italy or in Germany. Reporting to the Technical Support Manager, you will operate in an international environment and provide second level support by resolving customer problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting on Automation Platforms. You will drive service targets while ensuring strong customer satisfaction and retention, apply critical thinking to rapidly repair instrumentation, train our customers and our Service Engineers, and support the Applications Team while verifying the operational performance and data quality of systems to support the overall commercial organization.

• Operate independently in Italian/Germany territory and in Europe when needed (overnight travel as required) to provide excellent customer service while installing and maintaining automation instrumentation and systems in hospital and stand-alone laboratory environments.
• Work with the team to share standard methodologies, mentor, and receive experienced technical support.

• Biomedical engineer or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of Technical Support, Field Service experience with Diagnostics market.
• Early careers are welcome but with troubleshooting experience gained during thesis or internships.
• Proficient English, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
• Ability to travel and provide service in the whole country as well as periodic travel to other European countries and overnight travel. A current valid driver’s license is required.

• Willing to work different shifts/flexible hours as business needs.
• Analytical mindset, able to analyze data, identify problems and find effective solutions.
