Job summary
A global Luxury group in Milan is seeking a Junior Accountant to support financial reporting and manage accounts receivable and payable. Responsibilities include ensuring accurate invoicing and compliance with local tax laws. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and has 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in English and Italian is preferred, along with strong Excel skills. Full-time contract offered.

Responsibilities
- Support the booking of accounting entries for reports.
- Check correctness of AR and AP invoices.
- Prepare AR ledgers reconciliation.
- Resolve AR and AP issues with internal and external parties.
- Manage document archiving according to compliance.

Education
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to be part of our financial department. He / she will join the team in our legal entity in Milan (Italy).
- Supporting the correct and timely booking of accounting entries for monthly preparation of reporting package
- Checking correctness of AR and AP invoices, such as VAT codes, SDI and related format
- Checking Sales summary report and preparing AR ledgers reconciliation
- Resolving all AR and AP related issues with internal and external parties, follow up debt collection and maintaining the reports updated
- Managing Intent letter and assisting timely local tax declarations and filings, such as Intrastat, VAT register and stamp duty
- Responsible for document archiving according to local compliance
- Bachelor’s degree majored in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management
- At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a similar role
- Ideally proficiency in Italian and English (Both written and speaking)
- Self-starter, organized, motivated, ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel
