We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to lead and oversee all warehouse operations within our space manufacturing facility. Operating in a low-volume, high-complexity production environment, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage, handling, and flow of high-value components with long lead times, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, traceability, and efficiency.

The warehouse plays a central role in supporting multiple production areas with potentially diverse needs, from projects requiring project-specific (make-to-order) inventory management to others operating with shared or stock-based logistics.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Lead and manage all warehouse activities, including goods receipt, storage, inventory control, kitting, and dispatch.
  2. Ensure full traceability and documentation for all parts and assemblies, in compliance with internal standards.
  3. Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems; conduct regular audits and cycle counts.
  4. Manage and adapt warehouse operations to support different production models (e.g., project-based, stock-based), ensuring tailored material flows for each area.
  5. Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, and Production teams to align material availability with project timelines.
  6. Manage proper storage conditions (e.g., ESD, temperature-sensitive items)
  7. Coordinate incoming inspections and ensure alignment with quality standards.
  8. Optimize warehouse layout and processes to support efficiency and minimize handling risks.
  9. Lead and develop a small team of warehouse personnel, ensuring continuous training and adherence to safety procedures.
  10. Monitor and improve KPIs related to warehouse operations.
Required Skills :

  3. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS / ERP / MRP) and warehouse best practices.
  4. Familiarity with Infor LN ERP system is highly preferred.
  5. Experience in managing materials in environments with heterogeneous production requirements (e.g., make-to-order vs. make-to-stock).
  6. Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (e.g, ECSS) is a plus.
  7. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Understanding of export control regulations (e.g., ITAR, EAR).
  9. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  10. Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
