Tour Expert

Your life on board: As a Tour Expert, you’ll be the driving force behind achieving revenue targets and ensuring guest satisfaction. You’ll propose enticing tour packages during the cruise and assist guests on local excursions, all while adhering to the company’s safety standards. Your expertise will help create unforgettable experiences for our guests!

• You’ll establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with guests both on board and during tours, driving new business by selling package tours in line with budgeted targets.

• You’ll identify and suggest new opportunities to maximize revenues in the tour area, always looking for innovative ways to enhance the guest experience.

• You’ll oversee the organization of excursions and transfers, from start to finish, including back-office activities and preparation of all support materials (tickets, stickers, maps), following the Tour Manager’s guidelines.

• You’ll report to the Tour Manager about guests’ needs, interests, and opportunities for new products and services, ensuring we meet guest needs and boost company revenues.

Getting Things Right:

• You’ll actively listen to guest complaints regarding sales and excursions, informing the Tour Manager to find the best solution or ensuring other departments are promptly notified.

• You’ll occasionally provide language translations during excursions, ensuring guests receive excellent language services throughout their tours.

Safety First:

• You’ll keep a close eye on guest activities during excursions, ensuring they comply with service standards and safety procedures.

• You’ll provide immediate support to any injured guests on tours, ensuring they receive the necessary care in line with company procedures and guidelines.

• You’ll actively contribute to a work environment that promotes a strong safety culture, dynamically following and supporting all safety policies and procedures.

What makes you unique:

• You have a Secondary school diploma in Tourism or Languages (bachelor’s degree is highly appreciated)

• You have a proven track in Sales (experience as a Tour Operator represents a plus)

• You master English and Italian language

• You speak fluently a language among German and French

• You have a good command in a fourth language among Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese

• You are proficient in MS Office package

• You are problem-solving and team-work oriented
