Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer specializing in preliminary projects and connection infrastructures for PV and storage systems. The candidate will oversee project design, coordinate with various engineering companies, and manage external engineering to optimize renewable project investments. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Italy, proficiency in relevant software like AutoCAD, and strong teamwork and communication skills are essential. Descrizione del lavoro

The Project Engineer should have knowledge of preliminary projects for access and connection projects (PV, PV + Storage systems) and connection infrastructures.

Knowledge of Low, Medium, and High voltage infrastructures

Also, knowledge in project design (Drawings, Electrical calculations, BOQ, reports, etc.)

Design of Overhead lines, underground lines, switching stations, transformers, and Substations

Experience in leading and coordinating External Engineering for Renewable projects and interconnection infrastructures

He or she should work closely with the development team

Additional valuable experience in BESS projects

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for project design, communication with other engineering companies
• Coordinate and plan activities in line with the company's strategic policies
• Supervise third-party engineers' development and potential improvements in each investment opportunity
• Evaluate project status during development
• Collaborate with procurement and perform cost evaluations
• Manage relations professionally with all involved companies (Engineerings, EPC, Modules manufacturers, investors, developers, utilities, landowners, etc.)

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in Italy
• Understanding of the ‘greenfield’ development process for solar PV and storage projects (including site control, securing interconnection, permitting, etc.) with good knowledge of associated engineering development costs
• Project Management skills; proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSys, Google Earth, IMEDEXA or similar software, and basic substation design software
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
