A leading construction solutions provider is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager in Italy. The role involves business development, technical support, and account management within the construction industry. You will engage engineers, architects, and key accounts while developing sales strategies. Required qualifications include over 3 years of experience in a technical sales role, a degree in Civil Engineering, and proficiency in Italian and English. This position requires 60%-70% travel.
The position reports to the Sales Manager Italy C&C with a dotted line to Regional Sales Director. This role requires an experienced technical sales manager with deep knowledge of the construction industry, regulatory requirements and market. The person is responsible for business development, technical advice, promotion of building solutions, influencing engineers, architects and building professionals, and directly managing key accounts while developing and executing sales plans to realize profitable growth and long-term customer satisfaction. Expected travel 60%-70%.

Business development — Acts as an ambassador of Arkema Adesivi C&C products and solutions, promoting them and increasing knowledge among engineers, architects and building professionals. Identifies new trends, customers, applications and market segments for the C&C Business Unit (Construction&Consumer) and brings them to management’s attention. Monitors the competitive landscape and market dynamics and proposes appropriate response strategies. Collaborates with peers and sales management to develop higher-level sales strategies and help identify target accounts and opportunities within the framework of the business unit strategy.
