A leading Italian IPP is seeking a Site Manager to oversee onsite execution for utility-scale solar projects. Responsibilities include reviewing designs, ensuring compliance, and coordinating site activities. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, with at least 2 years of experience in complex construction sites, preferably in renewables. This role offers an attractive package, including €50,000 salary and a company car.

Site Manager | Utility-Scale Solar

Around €50,000 + Company Car + 20 % Bonus

Piper Maddox are exclusively supporting one of Italy's leading IPPs, developing wind and solar projects in Italy since 2003. With an exciting pipeline of utility-scale wind, solar and Agri-PV projects across South Italy, they are now looking for a Site Manager profile to manage the onsite execution of these projects.

Working within the Construction department and alongside the Project Manager and Engineering teams, the Site Manager will oversee on-site execution and ensure delivery to design, schedule, and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Italian IPP, with an ambitious and collaborative work environment.

As Site Manager, you will :

  • Review detailed designs and propose corrections
  • Analyse contracts and authority requirements
  • Monitor works for compliance with design and standards
  • Identify construction issues and define corrective actions
  • Plan and coordinate site activities to meet timelines
  • Supervise suppliers and subcontractors
  • Manage material procurement and inspections
  • Prepare progress reports
Ideal Profile
  • Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
  • 2+ years' experience on complex construction sites (renewables preferred)
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and construction processes
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
