Amazon Air is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Manager with excellent analytical and interpersonal skills along with strong record of delivering results to support our team in building the next stage of the Amazon Air network in North America. The team is comprised of leaders with in-depth experience of the Amazon supply chain and/or commercial airline networks who are passionate about taking the Amazon Air network to the next level and enable increasingly faster deliver speeds on more items at lower cost for Amazon customers.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with key functional stakeholders across the company to lead, support, and influence innovation across the Amazon Air network
  • Build strong partnerships with operational leaders to identify and eliminate constraints
  • Advise senior leadership on long‑term decisions and structural changes to how Amazon Air operates
  • Innovate to improve customer outcomes, reduce carbon emissions, and decrease the end‑to‑end supply chain cost
  • Navigate through ambiguity; manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the cross‑functional processes, and delivering on commitments

A day in the life: Your day will be dynamic and impactful, focusing on creating comprehensive network strategies that push the boundaries of logistics innovation. You'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, analyze complex data sets, and make strategic decisions that directly influence Amazon's transportation infrastructure.

About the team: Amazon Air Network Planning and Revenue management leads the long‑term network strategy, planning and scheduling for Amazon's air transportation network in North America, and owns the tools and processes used to allocate aircraft capacity to the most valuable freight. The team's mission to design the safest, fastest, cheapest, and most reliable network to serve Amazon Fulfillment Network as well as external Air Cargo customers.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of supply chain experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
  • Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
