We collaborate with six other diagnostics companies within the Danaher group to deliver innovative diagnostic tools that improve patient lives. The In Vitro Diagnostics Sales Area Manager South/Italy will create and strengthen customer relationships across Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria, and Sicily.

This position is part of our outstanding Italian IVD Sales Team, reports to the National Sales Manager, and is fully remote.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Drive and grow sales in the region in full compliance with company policies and values.
  • Analyze market trends and expand commercial opportunities.
  • Define and achieve sales targets, monitoring KPIs and results.
  • Develop business plans and strategies to increase sales, market share, and profitability.
  • Manage and develop the customer portfolio within the assigned geographic area.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers and KOLs to strengthen business relations.
  • Coordinate, support, and train the sales network.
  • Manage complex negotiations.
  • Collaborate closely with company assets: Tender & Sales Administration, Marketing, Lab Solution, Customer Care.
  • Prepare periodic reports on performance, forecasts, and activities carried out.
The Essential Requirements For The Role Include
  • Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or CTF.
  • Five years of experience in sales of IVD laboratory instruments or a similar field.
  • Clear understanding of complex tenders in both the public and private sectors.
  • Fluent in Italian and excellent English.
  • Strong PC skills; experience with a CRM system such as Salesforce.com.
  • Willingness to travel to public and private hospitals and laboratories.
