About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our Folding Carton (Folding Box Board / FBB) and Food Packaging Board commercial activities across Italy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercial leader with strong industry knowledge, a proactive sales approach, and a solid network within the printing, converting, and packaging merchant sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for Folding Box Board (FBB) and food packaging grades within Italy
  • Drive revenue growth across key accounts and strategic customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with printers, carton converters, and merchants/distributors
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in adjacent segments (e.g., FMCG, food service packaging)
  • Lead pricing, volume, and service-level negotiations
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor developments
  • Collaborate with regional and global APP teams to ensure best-in-class customer support
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reporting to senior leadership

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4-6 years of sales experience in paperboard, folding carton, packaging board, or related packaging materials
  • Established network of customers in Italy, especially within converting, printing, and food packaging
  • Strong understanding of EU food-contact packaging regulations
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and account management skills
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and willing to travel regularly across Italy
  • Fluency in Italian and English
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Packaging, Engineering, or a related field preferred
