Contract: Temporary / Freelance (Pop-up period only)
Dates: 15–21 January 2026 (pop-up event + shop days)
Language: Italian (fluent) + English (very strong)
Start / Training: Early January 2026 (paid training day(s), timing TBD)

MIMIR is a premium Nordic menswear brand based in Milan, merging Nordic minimalism, Nordic mythological symbolism, and premium luxury. With our SS26 collection in final development and a Milan Fashion Week pop-up on the horizon, we are building a brand ecosystem rooted in emotional storytelling, modern craftsmanship, and precise execution.

The Role

We are looking for a confident, service-driven Retail Sales Associate to represent MIMIR during our January pop-up in Milan. You will be the face of the brand in-store—guiding customers through the collection, supporting styling and sizing, and converting interest into sales through an elevated client experience. This is a fast-paced launch environment, and we need someone who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable working with sales to customer Shopify POS/ similar payment system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional, high‑end client experience: welcome, styling support, and closing sales
  • Learn the brand story + first collection quickly (training provided early January)
  • Operate Shopify POS (or similar) and handle smooth checkouts and returns/exchanges
  • Maintain the space: product presentation, size/order support, and back‑of‑house organization
  • Support basic clienteling: collecting customer details (with consent), follow‑ups, and order notes
  • Work closely with the founder (Alexander) and the team during event hours
Requirements
  • Proven retail sales experience (premium/luxury fashion preferred)
  • Strong closing skills + natural relationship building
  • Fluent Italian and very strong English
  • Comfortable with Shopify POS or quick to learn digital POS systems
  • Reliable, punctual, calm under pressure, and detail‑oriented
  • Styling interest and an eye for product/fit is a big plus
