We are seeking a driven and experienced Quality Manager to join NOV Rig Technologies, Marine & Construction division. This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead quality initiatives, manage client relationships across global markets, and ensure successful project delivery. As part of our global Quality organisation, you will oversee compliance, drive continuous improvement, and build trusted partnerships internally and externally.

Main Objective & Challenges

The core objective of this role is to deliver projects to the highest quality standards while managing international client relationships. You will collaborate with functional groups across the business, working with clients worldwide (Europe, South Korea, and beyond). A fair degree of travel is required, along with strong leadership in ensuring compliance, project delivery, and effective stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development, implementation, and improvement of standardized Quality Procedures and Policies.
  • Manage internal and supplier audits, ensuring compliance with NOV standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee Non-Conformance processes, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Partner with Purchasing to evaluate and monitor suppliers, focusing on critical and high-quality processes.
  • Track and report Quality KPIs, providing insights for management reviews.
  • Champion risk management, change management (MOC), and contingency processes.
  • Deliver training and mentoring to QA personnel, strengthening quality capabilities across the organisation.
  • Represent the Quality function in client-facing and cross-functional meetings.
  • Support supplier management and product quality initiatives, ensuring adherence to quality plans (ITPs).
  • Travel internationally to support audits, client meetings, and project delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Native/fluent in Italian and English.
  • Degree qualified (engineering or related field).
  • 4+ years of Quality Assurance / Quality Management experience.
  • Experience with engineering assessments of hydraulic and similar equipment.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite.
  • Certified Lead Auditor with strong compliance knowledge.
  • ERP system knowledge (Oracle preferred).
  • Understanding or experience with crane equipment, winches, and gas equipment.
  • Experience developing and executing ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans) or Quality Plans.
  • Proven client-facing experience, ideally in global settings.
