RINA is currently recruiting for a Project Engineer: Interface Management Lead Specialist to join its offices in United Arab Emirates and Bangladesh within the Project Engineering Division.

Mission

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Project Engineer with a strong interdisciplinary background in Interface Management for large-scale railway and mobility infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will coordinate technical activities across multiple subsystems, ensure compliance with international standards, and support the integration of safety and reliability processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities

  • Prepare the Project Interface Management Plan.
  • Coordinate among Contractors to establish the integrated construction plan for interfacing and harmonization.
  • Manage all technical matters related to civil and system works, including Project Monthly Reports, Final Reports, and Design Criteria (Design Build Contract).
  • Ensure compliance of design, specifications, standards, and codes proposed by Railway Systems Contractors with the Employer’s Requirements and Contract documents.
  • Assist the Client in design interface coordination, recommending measures to mitigate conflicts and claims, ensuring effective integration in construction, operation, and maintenance.
  • Develop standards, templates, interface management sheets, etc., for contractors to manage project interfacing.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil engineering, or related fields.
  • Professional qualification as an electrical, mechanical, or civil engineer or other applicable professional credentials.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • 15 years of professional experience.
  • 10 years of experience in project management and supervision of large-scale international underground and/or elevated metro projects (>USD 1 billion).
  • Experience working on two projects financed by multilateral or bilateral development banks.
  • Experience in interface management for similar projects.
  • At least 2 years of work experience outside the home country.
