A leading manufacturing company in Melfi is seeking a Production Manager to ensure achievement of production objectives and KPIs, manage teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, proven experience in operations management, and fluency in both English and Italian. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and lead a committed team.

Reports to: Operation Manager
Direct Reports: Shift Leaders
Internal Interfaces: Plant Management, Central Functions, Other Plants
External Interfaces: Customers, Raw Material & Equipment Suppliers

Responsibilities

• Ensure production objectives and KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost) are achieved
• Plan, organize, and optimize resources (people, equipment, materials)
• Monitor production performance, manage deviations, and ensure proper shift handovers
• Lead problem-solving with Quality, Maintenance, Logistics, Product Development, HR
• Analyze and reduce scrap, rework, and quality issues
• Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives (Lean, CI, O.I.P.)
• Perform risk analysis and ensure compliance with IATF standards
• Evaluate and develop team performance with support from HR
• Maintain positive relations with trade unions and stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background
• Proven experience in production or operations management
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, IATF standards
• Leadership skills with ability to manage and motivate teams
• Problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Fluent in English and Italian
