Job Description

We are currently seeking a Logistics specialist, who will be part of the Procurement team with the scope to provide services to the Europe portfolio of PV and BESS.

As logistics specialist, reporting to the Purchase Manager Director, he/she will be responsible for ensuring the good coordination and transportation of major equipment and supply to our projects in Europe.

As an energy company with 2.3GW of pipeline to be commissioned in the next 3 years, Enfinity will purchase the main equipment of its PV and BESS projects in Europe. Consequently, the Logistics Specialist will have to manage on‑site deliveries of such equipment on time and on budget. He/She will also be responsible for its storage if necessary and for the fees and/or taxes due on imports. Most of the projects are in Italy.

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for ensuring all project procurement, including operations and technical activities, of goods and services are carried out compliantly and according to project deadlines.

The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting renewable energy projects, specifically solar and battery plants. This position is responsible for managing supplier production schedules, ensuring quality standards, monitoring transportation to renewable sites, and overseeing warehousing and storage operations. The role also includes negotiating transportation contracts, creating delivery dashboards, managing warranty claims for transportation‑related goods, conducting quality inspections, and supporting project RFP processes for the team.

Key Responsibilities
Supplier & Quality Management
  • Monitor supplier production timelines and ensure adherence to Enfinity and industry quality standards.
  • Conduct and coordinate quality inspections for incoming materials and equipment at the manufacturing sites.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve production or quality issues promptly to maintain on‑time deliveries.
Transportation & Delivery Oversight
  • Track, and facilitate transportation of materials and equipment to renewable sites for on‑time delivery for construction of renewable projects.
  • Manage relationship with suppliers to coordinate the transport of goods to final destinations;
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers to optimize cost and reliability.
  • Manage any necessary shipping and product documentation for delivery of major equipment to support financing parties and contract management in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Provide logistics support to operations department;
Warehousing & Storage
  • Oversee warehousing operations for solar panels, batteries, and related components.
  • Ensure proper inventory management and storage conditions for sensitive equipment.
Data & Reporting
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to track deliveries, lead times, and logistics KPIs.
  • Provide regular reports to project managers and stakeholders on logistics performance.
Warranty & Claims Management
  • Handle warranty claims with suppliers for damaged or defective goods during transportation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow‑up processes for claims resolution.
Project Support
  • Assist in preparing and reviewing logistics‑related sections of project RFPs and other procurement RFPs.
  • Provide input on transportation, warehousing, and quality requirements for contracts
Other Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight of the procurement process to ensure compliance, cost reasonableness, allowability and allocability, accurate financial accounting, sufficient internal controls, and timely reporting; Support ESG monitoring and supplier documentation to support Enfintiy policies
  • Manage logistics operations and inventory system;
  • Develop and implement the distribution plan for inventoried equipment;
  • Support the receiving of goods and inspection process;
  • Serve as a point of contact for logistics-related questions during audits;
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics in any sector.
  • Experience a managing logistics worldwide and familiar with Europe customsStrong knowledge of transportation contracts, warehousing operations, supplier quality management, and RFP processes.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for dashboard creation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Organized, resilent and meticulous person.
  • High level of negotiation skills
  • Ability to set, manage and track multiple priorities and related details
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability and desire to work in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Availability to travel for business most of the time to Italy
  • Advanced user on Microsoft Package (Excel, Power Point, etc.).
  • Fluent English (professional vocabulary is a must). Italian desirable.
