LEGAL COUNSEL

In this position, you will provide optimal support for our Global Legal & Compliance Director in all related matters.

1. Provide practical legal guidance on commercial contracts, leases, supplier agreements (with focus on Austrian manufacturing operations), and retail-related compliance matters.
2. Support corporate governance activities for our Austrian listed company, including shareholders/board meeting preparation, public disclosures/filings, and maintenance of corporate records.
3. Manage legal advice and processes for court and arbitration proceedings.
4. Handle issues related to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including data protection officer responsibilities.
5. Oversee routine management of various insurances.
6. Manage general office organization, including file management, contract and document management, filing, and deadline monitoring.
7. Coordinate with external lawyers, regulators, and authorities.

Your Profile:

• Austria-qualified lawyer.
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
• Familiarity with Austrian corporate laws; experience with Austrian listed companies is a plus.
• Native-level proficiency in German; proficiency in English; knowledge of Italian is a plus but not required.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• In-house legal experience in a luxury fashion or retail company is preferred.
• Team player with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational and project management skills.
• Structured, independent working style.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; willingness to work in an international environment.
