Junior Air export - Operations

KWE Italy is looking for a Junior Air Export Operator to join our office in Milano (Pioltello).

Job profile

• Complete processing of air shipments, from the pickup of goods to arrival at the destination; providing information and updates to clients regarding shipment operations; Supporting the sales department in negotiating rates and quotes for services.
• Provide excellence in customer service and a first place of contact for client inquiries, concerns and complaints. Special attention to key assigned accounts.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Building of airlines relationships, negotiations where needed.
• Complete accurate monthly reports as requested by management and customers.
• Booking of shipments; Organizing loading plans.
• Following of customs compliance rules.
• Direct contact with clients, KWE offices and destination correspondents.
• The candidate will independently manage the shipment processes from booking to invoicing.

Key Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the air export department at international freight forwarding companies.
• Good attitude and good overall character
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, which will be assessed during the interview.
• Good proficiency in the MS Office suite.
